TROPINASA design by SCOTTO + DB + MIKE SZABO for NASA in MIAMI 1993 winter music conference

When the Winter Music Conference in Miami was a thing in 1993, NASA co-produced an event called DIVINE PLAYGROUND with AMIR from INDUSTRY and SHELTER DETROIT with PHILLIP BLAINE of COACHELLA fame, and the ULTRA producers 1st rave/festival that inspired them to create and showcase the event at the same BAYFRONT PARK location! This flyer was for the afterparty. Sven Vath dj'ed with D'mitry of Dee-Lite and Keoki of Party Monster/ Limelight fame with Scotto & Db exhausted and sunburnt.

This logo, along with the nasa meatball in lowercase, as well as a 3D meatball rendering without the word nasa, were created by Mike Szabo (Zeta-G), and are in the permanent Cooper-Hewitt Museum of Drawings, Prints and Graphic Design!
